On September 14th of last year, the first chapter of Greenhorn was released!

I'm wondering. What kind of balance do you need to strike to both keep an enriched life that engages with art regularly while still maintaining consistent output?
Are prolific artists just doomed to never get to know anything as intimately as when they were a kid?
That might explain a lot, actually.

EXACTLY. You could also argue that each respawn comes with the question, "Do I wanna walk all that way again or should I go explore elsewhere and come back when I'm more prepared?"
Which you won't get if there's a bench just outside the boss.

Pastuzo is at his limit. Hugo apologizes.

Pastuzo: "It's easy, but there's a lot to it! Someday, it'll be like you're not carrying anything at all!"
Pastuzo thinks for a moment.
Pastuzo: "Still..."
He checks his backpack.
Pastuzo: "My bag feels much lighter than it should..."
"...Wait! My battle items!!"
"Where'd they all go!?"
Hugo gets sheepish.
Embarrased, he overexplains what happens.
Pastuzo stops him with a death glare.
Pastuzo: "Hugo."
Hugo, thinking: "Eep! Twice in one day?"
Pastuzo, giving the boy a paralyzing glare.
Pastuzo: Where did you put ym very important battle items? The ones I use for battle? The items to which our very survival depends on?"
Hugo is sweating bullets.
