Regeringen struntar blankt i det skydd mot massövervakning och för privatlivet som finns i grundlag och Europakonventionen och föreslår nu att polisen ska få använda AI för ansiktsigenkänning i realtid.
Det borde vara lätt att begripa hur detta kommer kunna missbrukas.

This is extremely unfortunate to say the least. Not sure how I would have reacted to having my Reith lectures censored - the world has changed in an ill way in the two years since.

Om man ibland medverkar i offentliga evenemang, måste man då varje gång påpeka i förväg för arrangören att man INTE vill porträtteras som en AI-genererad karikatyrbild?
Eller kan vi tillsammans etablera en social norm att det är ohyfsat att göra så mot andra människor som ställt upp för en?

När ett evenemang marknadsförs med AI-genererade bilder (dvs bilder vars estetik _känns_ AI-genererad), då vill jag undvika evenemanget. Precis som att jag till varje pris INTE vill lyssna på musik om skivomslaget är (känns) AI-genererat.
