How it feels when you're WFH and brining something for dinner
Kind of amazed by how well "Trilogy of Error" holds up on rewatch compared to basically every other Simpsons season 12 episode - it's focused, has some fun surprises, and is pretty consistently funny. Also has one of my favorite dumb jokes of the series that stayed in my head over the last 24 years

“The Shinning” is a rare case of a 5/5 parody of a 5/5 masterpiece where seeing the parody first (as I did, and several times at that) does not blunt the impact of the original at all.

As someone that was probably this AI child’s age in 2002 and whose family regularly went to Walmart at the time, I cannot imagine the bleakness of the kind of soul that has this level of nostalgia for the experience.
