He reminds me of baby Bess!

Probably the most useful item I've made so far in class is this blanket storage bench. (It's not a cedar chest.) Here are a few different pics of it... one during the final part of the glue-up, one is a closeup of the front, and one is after I brought it home and Henry found his new spot.

I also took a class where we designed and made our own mosaic art piece. Here are photos of the cut wood laid out before I applied any finish or paint, the cut and finished wood before I glued and nailed it, and the final piece with the frame. This class was really fun, but also HARD.

I also took a class where we made a trellis. I didn't keep the trellis, because I have no use for one. I gave mine to my friend who took the class with me.

That class was all about the dado cuts.

In the first class I took, we made a picture frame. I haven't put a picture in it yet, because it came out just a tiny bit smaller than intended, so I need to find the right photo.

There's glass in it, that I cut, also!

Apparently I have been remiss in sharing cat pics here... so here you go.

Bess and Henry are turning 10 this spring/summer. They helped a lot with my mental health all through the early parts of the pandemic, and continue to make my days better every day.

I made this! (In a class, with help and supervision.)

As a person who prefers soft clothes, I am currently expressing that via my Rook by choosing the softer looking armor options.

I call these my "Blood Dragon Jammies."

So I visited the mirror of transformation and tweaked my Rook a little bit. I'm quite pleased with the result. Also, their last name makes me chuckle.
