I want to say ‘unbelievable’ but sadly it isn’t.
Horror on horror. We need to build bridges of understanding, not more walls of hate.
This Israeli government decision to host Tommy Robinson will widen the growing gulf between the Netanyahu government and the British public, including the broad majority of Jews in Britain (3/4 of whom dsapproved of Netanyahu, before this new link to this anti-Muslim racist UK far right convict).

This is nonsense. MPs are there to legislate, not vote on guidance. If you don’t like the law, it’s MPs job to change it. If MPs don’t like how their words are being interpreted, change the words. Don’t short circuit Parliamentary processes by getting into the business of guidance.

I remember a time when I was frustrated that no-one was really interested in politics. Around about 2006-8. How I miss those lovely days.

Nigel Farage and Reform have consistently voted against the Employment Rights Bill which introduces key worker protections like statutory sick pay from day one and a ban on zero-hours contracts - is that a party you would want to trust with your human rights?
On Tuesday Nigel Farage will publish his proposals for mass deportations, Prison camps, leaving the European Convention on Human Rights & scrapping the Human Rights Act, quitting the Refugee Convention and the UN Convention against Torture - is that a country we want?

Phew. Due process has, and I emphasise, HAS been followed.
Calm down everyone
A factual statement from The National Allotment Society re the utter nonsense a broadsheet posted over the weekend.
Also, as per my post on Saturday: the only factual basis the article contains is a regurgitation of stats from a Parliamentary Q&A a few weeks back.

I've decided to leave the Labour Party, after over 31 years of membership. This wasn't an easy decision, but it certainly feels like the right thing for me to do.

I've written down a few thoughts on why I've come to this conclusion, which may be of interest to others who are in a similar position.
Why I'm (Finally) Leaving the Labour Party
I've been a Labour member for 31 years, but now it's time to go.

I went to the doctor today. Not because I am ill. I’m 60 and they called me. I went in for a health check. They took my bloods, checked my blood pressure, weight, exercise regime, and (ahem) drinking. Turns out my blood pressure is high. I have no insurance, but not charge. Jealous USA friends?
