Check out jonniesparkles.ar.io if interested! Everything there (including the domain) is Arweave based.

Paragraph acquired Mirror (a little bit ago by now) - not sure what their plan is with Mirror but they continue to focus on Paragraph as the lead publishing platform.

I'm a fan of self-publishing directly to Arweave, granted theres no immediate audience but I like being in full control.

2) for ario, when you purchase an ArNS domain, you use ARIO tokens. These tokens go into a similar mechanism know as the protocol balance. That balance is used to reward gateway nodes who serve Arweave data to users.

No dumb questions!

1) for Arweave - when you upload a file you pay in AR tokens proportional to the file size. These tokens are split bewteen the storage nodes (miners) and the endowment

Theres a fair amount of misunderstanding in that thread about Arweave. Namely, the "endowment" is not controlled by a foundation (or anyone), its protocolized.

You're spot on with incentivized bandwidth costs though, thats a hard problem and one we're trying to tackle with ar.io, built on Arweave.

Not super familiar with Lighthouse so its interesting to follow your progress.

I've tried to "just upload a file to filecoin" before but never found an easy path.

Just checking in - any luck so far?

Ha you'd be surprised! We've had plenty of "hey guys, first time using ArDrive and I'm trying to upload 50,000 images at once for my NFT drop in 30 minutes" encounters.

I understood you're talking with our team on Warpcast too, so I'll let you carry on there - we're on it! Ping me here if anything comes up though

Sorry again but the silver lining is thanks for your help hardening the system :)

Ok keep us posted! Very odd that would happen with Turbo, obviously not the experience we want you to have!

Will check with the team as well for initial reactions.

Thanks for the tag sir 🫡

Def not common but it also depends on some factors. How many files did you try to upload at once? Did you use Turbo Credits or pay AR directly?

You should be able to retry any files that failed without issue.

ArDrive discord will b the best place to get detailed support if u need more assistance!
