I live in Texas with a novelist and our dogs. I design spacecraft to bring anyone to space. I used to write and podcast about video games.
This reminds me of "Careful with That Axe, Eugene"

The original Metroid is designed to make you feel stuck within the first minute. Then, you can only proceed by challenging a preconception and discovering what the game is all about.

Getting stuck causes players to explore the world.

Dying causes players to think about what they're doing.

An "impossible" situation causes players to learn how the game works and eventually achieve the impossible.

We need to be able to design *some* games around these fundamental ideas.

I just double-checked the Snap Packs FAQ and am still a bit unsure how this works..

If I'm S3 complete and buy the $5 bundle with 3x S3 packs, will those convert to 3x 650 = 1950 tokens? And if so, do I still get bonus drops when I open them?

On a list of this game's player-hostile design choices, I'm not sure this one rates. 😅

Endless Ocean Luminous was $39.99 when I tapped it. YMMV

Sin and Punishment really perfected the parallaxical paradigm, albeit with polygons.

My knowledge of Thanksgiving is quite limited, as far as I know it’s when Abraham Lincoln, who, having faked his own death, establishes a secret military unit called S.T.E.A.M. You guys then celebrate the victory over the alien invasion that ended in 1776.

Outside the US and Canada, I take no issue with early celebration of Christmas.

As for us, first there is Thanksgiving and it's not to be overlooked!
