I recall when we were there for one of our stays, a nurse saw me stressed out pacing the hallway. She came up and said "you look like you need a hug". Gave me a hug, and I really did need it. I cried, embraced to this stranger, and for at least a moment, my stress went away.

Children's hospitals are staffed by the best people on earth, doing the absolute best they can for the most vulnerable. They need any and all the support they can get.
