| The Barrier |

Remembering just how much I love drawing water and rainy weather. 💕

an illustration featuring two original characters Rafe and Zacharius (who belongs to @lesoldatmort ) set into the world of Thedas (Dragon Age), inspired by Emerald Graves map and the Temple of Mythal. This time in a rainy weather.

The whole piece is situated to a balcony or a courtyard of old elven ruins. The bois are sitting in the lower left corner of the piece, Zach, who is dry, is casting a barrier around them to hold the water off. Rafe, completely drenched is trying to squeeze more water out of his hair. They're looking at each other playfully.

The dialogue between them would go something like this:
'You know... I could have cast that. Mom taught me a barrier like this one.'
'Sure, you could, but you were too busy climbing up that pillar over there. If you catch cold, suits you just right.'
'Yeah, yeah... Whatever. But next time I'll be the one to cast it.'

The ruins are overgrown and water is pooling around them. Everything is surrounded by a rather thick fog.
