Anyone know why there seemed to be multiple C-17 Globemasters flying in towards Hanscom AFB this afternoon? I hadn't realized before just how much bigger they are than your average passenger jet.

Just saw flying overhead near Boston, presumably heading towards Hanscomb AFB: a passenger jet of some kind, closely accompanied by what looked like two F-35's???

This is the sign I made for the #50501 rally in Boston on 2/17. Pretty proud of how it turned out.
When I was walking away another attendee asked if they could have it & I was perfectly willing to hand it over. In the end, IMO, it's the message that's important rather than who's carrying it.

There were probably more than a thousand people at the #50501 rally and march in front of the Capitol building, many chanting pro-democracy slogans, all united against Trump's and Musk's illegal actions.
It's a good start, but I hope just the start.

I've been stress baking in an attempt to distract myself from current events. This morning's experiment: chocolate chip cookies with pecans and diced apricots, spiced with cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg.

Climbing remains a good zen practice for me, letting my mind focus on just what's in front of me right now. I'll likely be doing quite a bit more of it in the near future.
