discovered recently 1 horsepower isn't even 1 horse, like a horse does not contain 1 horse of power. a single horse actually contains - on average - 5 to 6 horses. what the fuck are we even doing nothing means anything.

For a while, they said if you needed tech help, ask a 10yo. But current 10-20yos didn't have to explore and click around and futz with things to get them to work, so if it's not immediately obvious, they can't do it.
Basically if you're 30-50 you're just doing tech support for everyone forever.

I've just realised that reading more fiction books for fun has really helped with me being able to focus properly on reading other stuff.
I was just reading something that usually I would skim.
Instead I noticed I was taking time to understand it, sometimes, re-reading sentences.
