Cannabis remains by far the most commonly consumed illicit drug in EU, which is followed by Cocaine.
Synthetic cathinones, which I study, are increasingly integrated into EU drug market.

I don’t think AI can help in reviewing, and more importantly manny journals do not allow it for some very good reasons. I rejected a paper recently because it was found that it was clearly AI written! However, using AI to fine tune English should be fine.

I'm writing about amphetamine therapeutic use on obesity. I mean d-amphetamine or the racemic mixture, not other amphetamine-like drug. Can anyone tell if amphetamine is still approved in any country for obesity or weight loss? Thanks!

Clinical trials back then agreed in a minor, but statistically significant effect. The problems are the adverse events like cardiovascular and potential abuse.

Our latest on Melatonin in food supplements and Medicines in Portugal. Up to 2mg is considered a food supplement, above a medicine! Food supplements contain melatonin and plant extracts and should be more carefully studied.

Found this recent study on MDMA #ecstasy pharmacokinetics in humans. For those interested in the therapeutic prospects in PSTD, MDMA is a potent CYP2D6 inhibitor it can have relevant drug–drug interactions.

MDMA could be helpful in PSTD or other brain disorders. There should be clinical trials not only showing effectiveness but also safety, not only in the short but also in the long term. Caution is required due to the potential neurotoxicity and hepatotoxic actions of MDMA and it’s metabolites. 🧪
