Those pontoon boats are pretty unmistakable if you’ve been there.

He has been hitting very nicely in the last two weeks (and that's without even taking this game into account). Might as well ride the hot hand.

Shashank,

FYI - This is the 4th rainiest year in the Panama Canal's history (yes, there was a drought in 2023-2024. No, it's not drought hit right now).

I also didn't think much of Wheeler in a HoF context, but about a month and so ago I noticed that his 7th best bWAR season was 2020... and that he was about to blow past it

His 2025 is now his 4th best bWAR season, and should end up being his best or 2nd best season. And his WAR7 floor is just 3.2.

Here in Panama, your first “cédula” (when you turn 18) is free, as are renewals upon expiration.

If you lose your “cédula”, that’s where they get you, at $35 a pop (though there’s even a web page where you can see if your “cédula” has been recovered and turned in).

If you want to do a deep cut, mention ancient Güna traditions.

The Günas are an indigenous Panamanian group which still uses a version of the Swästika which they developed centuries ago (obviously, they have no relation to Germany or the Indian subcontinent).
