Part of the reason AI doesn’t “understand” anything is that it only works in the first place because people threw all this training data at it so that it wouldn’t *have* to understand anything.

Apple Intelligence’s Visually Similar search uses Google, and it’s impossible to change this. It doesn’t obey Safari’s default search engine setting.

Hey they fixed this awful contrast to an extent. The button hierarchy still needs work however.

A macOS Tahoe “Save / Don’t Save / Cancel” dialog. “Save” is white text on dark gray, “Don’t Save” is bright red on dark red, “Cancel” is white on dark gray with a green outline.

The frequency with which, for years now, some widget or heading or other piece of UI in iOS slides into one position and then abruptly jumps into another position -- this has just contributed to an overall feeling of shoddiness to me.
