Importantly — and this was stressed in friggen heartbreaking testimony — they were doing this while their friends, family and community members were dying in horrific, horrific numbers. The trauma they experienced/continue to experience is very clear. The crisis is continuing, 5 ppl/ day are dying.

On a related note, kudos to @victoria.ca for adding more bike racks around the Fort/Oak Bay intersection. They are much more secure than the one in the above video! #YYJ

Yup. This was a very important quest in our house once Adams was off the table, and believe me, we tried them all.

My entire family hated that one, which was disappointing since it's made on Vancouver Island. After trying many options, the Western Family natural peanut butter is the only semi-acceptable alternative to Adams that we've found (semi because one family member is still bitter about not having Adams)

As a political scientist, I think the effects on unity are some of the biggest problems with the agreement. It legitimates "Alberta" as an aggrieved party, distinct from other provinces, while treating BC and its peoples to be as issues to be managed, rather than partners in the federation.

Matt Galloway asking the Haisla Chief about "public polling" vs their inherent and constitutional title rights this morning also goes in this category. Embarrassing stuff.
