Longtime entertainment journalist/editor and now a longtime PR pro and strategic communications consultant. Oh, and I'm writing my first book, or at least trying to.
My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: I don't know the year, but I do know it was when their fame flame started to dim. They tried to stay relevant by being themselves. Evidently, that didn't work, so the makeup came back on. Does that answer the question? No, didn't think so.

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: I'm pretty sure it was sung by Tina Fabrique. I know this, because the song's composer told me, and he'd know. [if I'm right, and first, please identify me as Jonathan Taylor, instead of my Bluesky handle; thanks]

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: Just guessing here, but I bet it was Silly Putty. One of the joys of it when I was a wee lad was lifting images from Sunday comics and then stretching and otherwise adjusting them. Fun, and no screens involved!

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: I'm probably too late, but it's Holmdel, NJ. No New Jersey jokes allowed here (and I am a Californian!)

Richard Rushfield, founder of The Ankler newsletter, asks vital questions about the acquiescence of the Hollywood Left, and the rest of us, to the insanity being imposed by Trump and his goons. Not cool, not cool at all: theankler.com/p/amber-aler...

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: I think it's "Almost Grown," a show that's been pretty much forgotten, unlike "The Sopranos"! You win some, you lose a lot in the TV biz.

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: Once again, I'm sure I'm way too late, but it was Patti Boyd Harrison, the wife of his supposed best friend. Who woos the wife of a good friend? Well, I guess George was a better man than I because they remained friends.

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: It's the very successful, very viral Ice Bucket Challenge, to raise $ and awareness for the fight against ALS. As the child of a dear father whose life was cut short by that horrible disease, I participated then, of course.

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: There is a bird - can't recall what breed, but it's a big one, with a long neck - had laid eggs in a nest it built. Apparently the bird is a baseball fan.

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question: It was, famously, Greer Garson, who probably was the reason the Academy added a timer to acceptance speeches. I'd go on, but the timer tells me I've blabbed enough.
