Amazon's AI is the worst. Amazon sent me the wrong item, I did a return, Amazon sent me the correct item. Today I got an email that I returned the wrong item (DUH), and was going to get charged. The AI has no flow for this, but tried to convince me I didn't need to speak to someone.

The Trump Mobile Plan website claims that it will include Telehealth with "Contactless Blood Pressure, Heart Rate Monitoring." It seems to imply that these features will work with a biometric face scan, which is very impressive technology for a cellular service.

It can look super nice as is, with minimal backgrounds. But I want my cat as my wallpaper, and Apple didn’t account for that apparently.

Control Center is a good example of the background dependency. I think the first screenshot here is mostly okay, though I’d still like less translucency. The second is chaos and distracting. This is beta 1, and there’s time for refining. I’m glad to see something fresh overall.

First Google Search AI fail of the day: Looking up how long I have to contribute to my IRA for 2024. Google gave extra wrong info on contribution caps only applicable to Roth IRAs. I had to take the time to make sure I wasn't wrong about limits because of confusing added info I didn't need or want.

Some wins from the kiln, and one big loss. The shelf I made warped like crazy, not sure if firing upright would have helped. RIP. I do wish I’d put more lavender mist on the snake pitcher, but I still like it. Little house dish turned out better than expected, I struggle w/ clear over underglaze.

Not sure an op-ed from a healthcare CEO that earned $23.5 million in 2023 is going to hit quite like Andrew Witty hopes, especially when it has real thoughts and prayers vibes with nothing actionable. More like achieving best profit outcomes.

I’ve been taking a hand building pottery class for the last month to add to wheel skills, and I tried to get ChatGPT to make me a slab template for a teapot. That is apparently not something AI can even remotely do.

I have 17 pottery creations at various levels of completion, and my goal this weekend is to finish (most of) them. Will I make it? Probably not since it’s almost noon and I’m still mindlessly scrolling.

Had my first tufted titmouse visit! When I set up my bird buddy, a gang of house finches took over and wouldn’t let other birds visit. I took down all my bird feeders so the finches would move on, and I’ve had some success. Look at that little mohawk!
