Tariffs are taxes. Like, say, taxes on cigarettes.

When taxes on cigarettes went up, what happened? Did tobacco companies eat the extra cost? Nope. They passed it onto consumers - so cigarette prices went UP.

Trump just did that to EVERYTHING you buy.
