SOTA activated Fitch Mt. (W6/NC-419). It was a challenge but KB6ZOP and I were successful.

Yesterday I took a walk in a park with Jim and Matthew. We walked 3.4 miles, found 12 geocaches, and saw billions of wildflowers. It was an ideal day.

Yesterday, we acquired a Yaesu FT-891 with the FC-50 antenna tuner for the sole purpose of Parks on the Air. We have been enjoying the POTA hobby and decided to invest in a smaller station.
To celebrate we activated US-3432, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, from Nimbus Flat.

Today's project. A basket made from Love Fest Fibers Tough Love. I asked my soon to be daughter-in-law what she wanted for her bridal shower, and she wanted me to make her another basket. The image shows the mold still in it. It will be filled with kitchen utensils and loaf tins.
