It was a 3rd party RF lens. Canon went after the manufacturer for patent violation and made them stop selling and supporting these lenses.
Luckily, I found a firmware update somebody downloaded before all that trouble.
It was very simple to install using the USB-C port in the lens and all works now.

I only found this today, there is an option to enable 4x playback speed in the official YouTube app.
