The difference is how long the jury sends you to prison for, not whether or not it's wrong.

Yes, the term she’s looking for is “jail bait.” But she can’t say that, obviously. The consequence is right there in the term.

We need Cancel Culture like we’ve never needed it before.

Assuming they went for a threat and not a bribe. Surely there’s something they could offer her.

Just let me have Windows GenX, and the kids can have their Windows GenZ. Is that too much to ask for? Stop hiding the features I use most!

I am concerned that they pushed the release date back again so they can add AI to the game.

Sometimes “the next technological step forward” is just the obsolescence of the previous step. Records to cassettes to cds to iPods to streaming. The “next big thing” was an ever shrinking blip on the timeline, not a permanent fixture of life. AI is not forever. Soon to be gone and forgotten.

Aside from the usual anti-AI issues, I’d like to point out the major flaw in the logic of this piece is that it implies no technology ever failed to catch on. It assumes a linear progression of successes, thus AI is inevitably the next step. Sometimes “the next big thing” doesn’t catch on.

The Democrat party believes their only job is to win the next election. They just won and they stopped fighting immediately after. They’re setting themselves up for next year.

He's too young to understand any of it, but old enough for me to explain "it means sex" without elaboration, and that usually is sufficient.

But if someone is going to primary Schumer I won't want to miss it, so I will register as a Democrat. Thank you.
November 10, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Ahh, okay. That makes sense. I registered as a Democrat in 2016 so I could vote for Bernie in the primary, but NY rules require you to register so far in advance that I was too late and didn't get to vote. Then I got bombarded with Dem fundraising so I immediately switched back to WFP.

Someone tell Nate Silver that performatively destroying your own property is something that only the right does.

Is it "symbolic" because they were never going to actually face any consequences for attempting to overthrow the government?

Have to wonder how many people are asking ChatGPT how to commit murder, dispose of a body, etc. We know Google searches like that always come out at trial.

Why does Tim Kaine look like he's been sniffing glue?
November 10, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Wait, am I an idiot? How do you do this? I'm registered Working Families. How do you register as both in NY? Or are you just registered as a Democrat but vote Working Families candidates?

Doesn't the Senate Dems caving on the shutdown require the House to reconvene? I am not trying to give Schumer any credit, but now the focus of the shutdown is going to be on the House instead of the Senate, and thus on Mike Johnson? End the shutdown, open the Epstein files?
