Drawing of Nyx, my selkie themed bard. They have a pale furred collar longsleeve layer over a high neck dark body conforming top that features a chest window. They also have a dark ble scarf wrapped around their waist in addition to a slightly torn sealskin that rests over poofy blue/Grey pants Their boots have a wrapping around the ankle that the pants are tucked into Sketch of young pepper holding a baby goat in his arms. He seems to be trying to comfort it, but both have an expression of resignation. The background is red in contrast for representation of the sacrifices they both are Ireena(from the Curse of strahd dnd module) and my OC Zoran stand with their swords raised but pointing downward. both are looking at eachother as zorans back faces the viewer. Ireena has brown skin and reddish hair with a white streak with green eyes and sports metal armor that gleams in the refection of the light emitted by the sunsword she wields. She has a look of determination. Zoran has pieces of darksteel armor over a linen white shirt and has a blue shouldercape draped over his right shoulder. he has pale skin, dark circles under his grey eyes, and long blue/black hair with several streaks of white running through it. he seems tired, and resigned. the background is a diamond patterned blue with a yellow sun above a pale blue crescent ment to represent the moon. I don't think I'll ever get sick of this au. The dichotomy of selkies being perceived as weak and timid while in reality being ferocious and bloodthirsty is incredible.

the thing about seals, right, is that they sound like a person doing an impression of a seal. they just sound like that. this is part of why the selkie myth exists in the first place; they sound like people laughing or crying or shouting.
