I asked Microsoft PR about this—specially the DHS using Halo IP to recruit for ICE—and the company declined to comment.

Getting a car to Mississippi Ave in Portland: “Did anyone warn you about this area?”

Us: “????”

Driver: “There’s a lot of political extremism there.”

They are called writers
we need a word for a type of person who spends all their time working to live in a city so they can be near cool things, but they don't actually like going out

Hey everyone! I've put a new composition reel together in hopes of better displaying a range of things I have done/can do with music for video games. I'm always open to new projects, so please feel free to contact me if you're interested in working together! ^_^

And you know what the talking heads seem to rarely use 'violent' to describe? The systemic destruction of families through ICE detentions and deportations. Breaking a window is framed *primarily* as violence, but taking a grandparent away from their kids or sending someone to a work camp isn't.

Decided to check out Expedition 33 to see what the hype was about, entered a fugue state, and a week later I had the platinum. I'm not even a trophy guy.

I dunno if I'm gonna call it GOTY or anything, but it's the closest I've ever gotten to recapturing the feeling of the JRPGs of my youth.

In my low points, I try to be more like a friend and former colleague of mine who doesn't really even think about whether people like him or not.

He's also the most likable person I've ever met, which makes it a hard comparison. But I try! Maybe if I try hard enough I'll be as likable too.

Since the term AI has been poisoned by generative world-burning stuff, we're going to have to go back to calling video game AI routines "the computer." I couldn't beat the final boss because the computer was being cheap, etc.

we've witnessed nearly two years of livestreamed genocide and these ghouls want us to forget how they stood by and allowed it to happen. don't give them a moment's peace when they start making their little "solidarity" statements and try to retcon their own place in history.

Was stickering up a reissue Stepper, and was stymied by sticker #7 — the instructions vaguely point to the back of the car, but nothing is highlighted. The sticker is split it two, with a slight curve to it, which implies the rear windows to match the one on the front, but the shape isn't right...

One of the better parts of being an adult is that nobody can tell you “no” because you’ve “already got Optimus Prime at home.” They’re different robots, MOM.
