every time The Mastermind makes a list, I am delighted, and it made two here! It's a win for my personal tastes of slow Kelly Reichardt films, autumnal landscapes and Josh O’Connor.
the funniest insight on their brilliant acumen: they fired the woman exec who oversaw teenage mutant ninja turtles franchise, which was one of paramounts hits, after a new exec humiliated her in a meeting and she confronted him about it. She has now been replaced by an exec from a toy company.
6 months ago i would have been fully against netflix buying wb. But at this point anyone stopping it from falling into the hands of conservative tech oligarchs is a win. Just read this to see paramounts priorities under Ellison.

My only take away from last nights #survivor49 : Jeff has gotten so used to new era niceness that he seemed actually surprised that a player would openly say they dislike another player.

My favorite part of Wicked was the sword fight.
Saw Wicked For Good and I am still processing. I think like the musical this will live on more as a soundtrack i listen to the highlights of on repeat more than a movie i revisit. But Cynthia and Ariana are tremendous and they did really make me care about their journey…despite the musicals flaws.

My one major #wicked for good question - why were all the animals normal animals, except the first scene? They looked like creatures out of Mickey 17.
