Gf and I went for a walk yesterday and at a single intersection next to the Canadian embassy we spotted three Border Patrol recruiting trucks..

I recommend doing this! Though, tbf, I also recommend not doing this! That soundtrack hit so hard. Also 13yo Justin’s first experience to Traci Lords, which was probably for the best. But Halcyon and Something Good still hit so good!

It’s really easy to tell which Guardsmen are from DC, and who’s from out of state. These valiant soldiers guarding the Shaw Library started mockingly waving at me as I took my phone out. I gave them the finger, and don’t feel bad about it 🤷♂️

All these Robert Redford skeets, and I haven't seen a soul mention Sneakers: the movie you can describe and no one will believe exists. So much star power (Redford! Kingsley! Poitier! Akroyd! Phoenix! Strathairn! McDonnell! Busfield!), so prescient. Highly recommended if you've never seen it.

One of the sillier things about me is my love of $2 bills. Would you just look at them? Gorgeous. Look at that full art on the back! The unchanged-since-1976 design! They surprise and delight (and annoy) kids and bartenders alike! Every so often I grab a batch of 50 just to spend and give away 🤷♂️
