Remember the college Psychology professor who asked the class why anyone would place any value in Freud's words if you thought he was crazy. Pointed out exactly none of his ideas were original outside of renaming and marketing them. That Psychologists had largely walked away from him decades ago.

The people who need Trump pardons best get them now, because Vance is going to throw a lot of them under the bus. They aren't Thiel's allies, so Vance won't do anything for them.

The sports events will happen because too much money is already invested. What I would imagine is the expected international tourism will be a fraction of what was expected. Who wants to risk getting arrested for an event they can stream?

More depressing is that RFK Jr has effectively defunded research when extremely promising methods of slowing, or even reversing, Alzheimer's had been found. Guess we'll just treat everything with ivermectin from now on.

Why would people want to come to the USA for a vacation at this point? So many other places in the world that welcome tourists with open arms they could go instead.

Learned in 1994 that it doesn't matter how good a driver you are when, two weeks after getting my car back after being side ended by someone who ran an admittedly poorly visible stop sign, I was rear ended when I had to slam on the brakes in a residential neighborhood to avoid a child chasing a cat.

Being against seatbelts is right up there with the stupidity of the "Drunks Against Mad Mothers" nonsense I saw in North Florida in the 80s.
I've seen the aftermath of a slow speed, no seatbelt collision, and that was 12 stitches and a mild concussion at under 30 mph that cracked the windshield.

Sadly Rian Johnson just shot this down which is tragic. Obviously couldn't have specific Muppets like Kermit as main characters, but there are plenty of ones that would fit right in.

Marvel would have to release a new horror themed episode like Werewolf By Night every October with new characters.
DC would have a Legion of Superheroes cartoon in Young Justice style and length.
Knives Out would have a Muppets movie, with Daniel Craig and Hugh Grant the only people.

When I brought my now wife to meet the family, my Mom made a spaghetti dinner. Right after we all sat down with full plates, my middle brother knocked his large glass of milk over directly into my plate. This was the second woman I'd brought over for a first meal where he spilled milk onto my plate.
