i have to ask if the sonic movies are inspired by fleetway (and stay sonic) because longclaw very much feels like sophocles (first person to see sonic as an orphan), sonic reaches a wrathful impulsive state as super sonic, and the army of metal sonics resembling the metallix army

i hate that sega of america absolutely despised the concept of sonic, and even when they came around to the idea they decided it had to be changed (even if it did mean it sold super well or whatever), even sonic team were not fans which is really funny

this interview from ken pontac is quite interesting on exactly how much input they had on each game (clearly sega must have LOVED lost world with how much zavok gets used hehe)

this is like rogue one but if you didnt give a shit about any of the characters and there was a happy ending so you already knew all of the main characters were going to die (except the generic white guy who i also dont care about)

it also doesnt help that i feel like unless something is really exceptional or i have analysed it, i dont have a lot to say about the things i like, as long as its not actively making my experience worse i'll like it or think its good, i cant really talk much about that,
ive just been thinking about how ive probably accidentally constructed this negative perception of myself given how analytical and critical i am, and how i seemingly only talk about the things i dont like, but the truth is i find the best way to deal with the things i dont like
