Democrats have to be serious about re-imagining the Supreme Court so that it truly acts as a check and balance and won't fail us in the future. We need realistic leaders that can reassert the rule of law after we assume the majority (if we do). That means 'norms' become enforceable rules and laws.

Can 'we the people' register a vote of no confidence for minority leader Schumer? He is not meeting the moment at all. I'm beginning to question his commitment. We need a fighter for our democracy. We can't afford this, now of all times, this is critical! @murray.senate.gov @jayapal.house.gov

We can't afford to ignore these atrocities towards many communities in our OWN COUNTRY. Our 'daily lives' as they are now for some of us, are a temporary illusion. Eventually, the corruption, grift, law-breaking, cruelty, and cultural back-sliding will affect all our lives, and souls.
I get it: it’s terrifying to admit what’s happening right now.
No one wants to believe their nation is falling into authoritarianism, that the norms they relied on in the past are no longer givens, that the can’t-happen-heres are actually happening here.
