Also, joining @/ScamTracking on Telegram is a really good idea. They collate lists of known scammers, track name changes, and users can submit reports of new ones in real time. Worth your while!

You can hide non-contacts from everyone's view by going to:

Manage Group > Members > Hide Members

When a scammer joins, this makes it impossible for them to rapidly harvest all the name data. Please consider this! 🤍
