Listen, grace must be given to those of us with menopause brain. If we have a track record of saying things the right way, people just need to assume that our brain just didn't allow us to do it right this time, if we forget. No one should have to apologize for menopause brain.

I do try to use this stupid power to do as much good as I can -- promoting important causes, shining a light on good reporting and scholarly work, etc etc.

But this is a volunteer gig in my free time. I'm not your monkey.
