Trudy was deaf from childhood and following her successful swimming career she went on to teach deaf children to swim. Her story is one of many being told in Dover Museum’s newest exhibition: At the End of History.

Trudy crossed from France to England, landing at Kingsdown near #Dover, after 14 hours and 34 minutes - a record time.
