After a full day of creative work, my brain always feels like soup 🥲I'd love to do something fun in the evenings. Some sports would be great as well. But I'm sooo tired.

Those last few weeks working on a comic book are always so intense 😂 I really tried to not get in trouble again. But it never really works out. 26 pages of lines and 26 days left. Oh and 2/3rds of the book still need to be coloured 🥲 the next few weeks are going to be stressful 😩

But luckily, I have help with the lineart for the backgrounds and the colouring. I'd actually like to do everything myself. But the schedules for the books are always so tight that it's not possible 🥲

I have exactly one month left to finish the book. There are still 30 pages of lineart missing and only a quarter of the comic has been coloured 🫠 It's going to be a long and busy October!

On some days it's so hard to get my legs to turn left in the direction of my studio and not right an run into the forest 😂
But today, I bought my running clothes so after I finished the most important things on my to do list, I will go for a run 🌳🍃

What a day 🥲 It started nice with writing an invoice and working on the english version of an old comic of mine. But right after lunch it spiraled into a madness of pushing digital cakes around, sending stuff to the printer and trying to squeeze in some time to work on my current comic project.

Hi 🖐️ If you wondered: Im fine! I actually took a few days off. It was more of a "worcation" then a "vacation", but I still enjoyed the change of scenerey and the time with wonderful people a lot 💗I'm back on my desk now with a lot of work to do and will try to post more frequently again 😃

Since I'm lining and coloring the book simultaneously the first pages are getting done and I really like, how they turn out. I just wish I had more time for everything. But seeing everything come together motivates me, which is nice :)

I'm currently drawing so many forest backgrounds which I love. but do you know what I would love even more? Being in the forest myself 🌳 But sadly those forest backgrounds don't draw themself so I have no choice 🫠

Luckily my colleague Cornelis Jettke helps me with drawing some backgrounds and I have a handfull of wonderful people who will help me with coloring ❣️ But it's still no walk in the park to get all that work done in that limited amount of time 🫢

I'm trying to get back on track with working on the comic book 👀 The final Deadline is in two months. I need to try to keep calm and keep on working in a slow and stready pace. If I can do one page of lineart and two pages of coloring every day, I should be fine 🥲👍

And I might have taken some „do I have a burnout?“ quizzes 😬 you can probably guess what the results were 🫣 I really could need some time off to get back on track health wise. But there’s not really a break in sight until November 🥲

Took a mental health day today. I struggle a lot with headaches and the last few days have been bad. So I started the day with a workout, then I took a long bath and then a even longer nap. I feel much better now but I have no idea how I should keep my deadlines when I continue to feel like this 🥲

Oh by the way, the first Rosenhof novel just came out 😍 It has around 120 of my illustration in it and turned out very very cute!

Currently deep in the lineart slump. I should finish two pages every workday but I'm too slow and I have a lot of other things to do as well, so I miss this goal every other day 😬 but well, it's still going okay. 25 pages done, 63 more to go! I can't wait to start with coloring though 🥲

Book recommendation for anyone who wants to forget the heat for a moment. A very intense book, especially when it comes to the descriptions of nature. While reading, you really feel like you're stuck in a snowstorm with the protagonist:

My brain is melting. Right now I try to incoperate all the feedback into the book but it's so hard to concentrate. I wanted to send the edited storyboard back to the authors today but I don't think I can do it. It' so warm 🥵
