My beloved Carl gained his wings on 8/24/25. He is now whole and healed and I am broken. Grieving for him is so much harder than caring for him. I'm so lucky to have found #truelove. We held hands every day since our wedding day.

"Every Living Thing" is an epic history the #scientists who tried to classify, understand, and develop a #taxonomy of our world. The book covered many complex topics, including the distorted beginnings of #racism. Not my usual genre and I liked it. 💙📚

My hubby loves people deeply and for life. Today, we had lunch with one of his favorite high school buddies. The picture says it all! What joy! I haven't heard my husband laugh like this in a long time. Then and now 💕

Enjoyed a fun morning at aquatic exercise. Hubby has fun "playing" in the pool and tries very hard to do all the moves. Love sharing these moments with him! Good exercise. Great memories.

Entertaining #book and a perfect activity for my husband with #dementia! He #read aloud to me for 10 minutes or sometimes only one page. We both enjoyed the #anecdotes and history.

Love ❤️ this man who overcomes his disability to help. He can't serve VBS snacks this year but he willingly helped decorate. The theme is True North🧭. We made a tent ⛺ over one doorway and streamers over another doorway to represent the aurora borealis.
