I just had a bug buzz next to my ear and instinctively went to swat it away, but forgot that I was holding my kid’s water bottle and just smacked myself on the side of the head with it 🥲

I have a new coworker who’s from China & today she found out that, in Australia, we drink the tap water and she looked genuinely disturbed. And then like almost an hour later, I walked past her and she said to me “I’m sorry but I thought that people who said white people drink tap water were lying”🥲

I feel like I waited so long for this book to be released and, even though I tried my best to take it slowly, I finished it way too quickly and now I don’t know what to do with my life 😔
I haven’t felt this way in almost 2 decades and idk if I’m glad to know it again or not 😠
