I've skied at Iron Mountain and it is a nice enough hill for skiing.

But there is one big problem to be profitable. It has to generate its own electricity, like Kirkwood does. No power lines from Ham's Station to Hope Valley on 88. No infrastructure to support it.

The grift Trump tried to pull using Charlie Kirk's death caused a drop in his polling, not a rise. With his latest attack on Dems, I think Trump has jumped the shark.

I feel for these mountain communities. I grew up in one. Homes nested in the pine trees, and I mean nested in. Rarely is there any defensible space, bring up Google satellite view and you see. Fire insurance is an oxymoron when you bring the forest to your front door.

As a boomer I like the idea of owning my own music, so I have nearly 2 terabytes of recorded music from LPs/CDs I own. Never have joined any streaming service so I like the idea of Death to Spotify where a song needs to stream 1000 times for the artist to make 30¢.

This is where I grew up, Tuolumne County, CA. And aqs far back as I can remember into the '60s, The Sportsman has always been a place where you could get a cold beer, a hunting rifle, and your deer tag.

As ludicrous as this sounds, in Sonora it has always made sense.

A Trump appointed judge rules, when I said no National Guard, I meantNO NATIONAL GUARD! Judge Immergut ruled that Trump CANNOT deploy the National Guard from any state to Portland.

President Trump has such a losing record in the courts, he's a 1st class loser.

It bothers me that while Scott Jennings continually pulls will ass facts out of his ass, CNN keeps legitimizing what Jennings says by continually bringing him in as an expert.

That would create a armed rebellion that would justify Trump sending armed troops to put down the revolt.

The legal approach is like California and Oregon followed. Take Trump to court and force him to prove an armed rebellion exists to justify his sending troops. Trump lost in both states.
