I'm curious if anyone has tried it in a RN project yet. There are lots of fiddly mocks and presets in the ecosystem. I've been waiting for 1.0 to give it a whirl but maybe I should just try it out, 30% would be nice

The released versions for this are a little confusing, did we never actually get 1.1.0? It seems to be stuck in rc. In any event, looking forward to updating and hope it fixes issues 🤞

Presumably the overlay feature will eventually allow liquid glass components to work as

I applaud the integrity to not put your finger on the scale. Presumably Jetbrains has the power to influence the marketplace and "reset" the reviews or something

I'm sure it boils down to different teams with different priorities. It's just all so foreign to me since I've always been at small product-focused companies

It's really fun, highly recommend it!

I haven't watched the whole android show yet but it definitely looked cool in the demo. The current production version of the Gemini tab has slowly gotten worse over the last few months, it can't even reply to messages anymore for me. Bring your own model should be a nice improvement

Looks like you bribed the right people, update is out and working for me

Hopefully now that the first one has made it through you can get fast tracked. We've noticed, in the last year or so, same-day approvals. I'm half convinced it's all AI now once an app is out of scrutiny

I almost wonder if the "correct" solution is to treat maestro yaml files as an output target and write the tests in a more powerful language that generates a single-use yaml file

Is there an RSS feed for this?

Let me un-exaggerate a bit lest folks think I'm being over the top:
"Fast-forward 5 years, RN apps are fast. We’ve achieved sub-500ms (P75) screen loads in the Shopify app" shopify.engineering/five-years-o...

500ms is wild. Half of a second. It's not terrible but it sure as hell ain't "fast"

This is so cathartic to read. Watching companies "tell on" themselves and show off low quality stuff drives me nuts. It's even worse in the react native community. "Look how smooth this is!" while it is dropping frames. "Blazing fast" 800ms P75 page nav times 🤦‍♂️.

I was just thinking about this yesterday wondering when we were gonna see it. I'm super excited for this, thanks for making it!

Does the example you're showing support cancellation?

Is the dev build your on targetting 2.3 or 2.4? I'm a little fuzzy on the timeline when we should expect to start using this stuff

I actually kind of miss it. It is hard muscle memory for me to break. The line feels "unfinished" until my pinky slams that key. Like a sentence without a period.
