But yes, a TON of fun was had. The tone of the movie was understandably a tad more mature, as our boys are growing up 🥹, but I still sprinkled some Shuunanigans here and there, when it worked for the scene~ 😼

I cannot overstate the excitement that rippled throughout when the green light came. @joshuawaters.bsky.social and I were SCREAMING at eachother through text.

Then, the movie came out! The maybe became stronger! And so, we all waited patiently for the possibility that we might return. We dorked about it at cons, we reminisced, and we kept the flame of enthusiasm burning in the back of our minds.

Needless to say, portraying him is a very special feeling. It's the kind of smile that you just can't wipe from your face, no matter what. When we wrapped Season 1, I was of course so satisfied with what we had created, but I had always hoped to get to be him again.

Anyone who knows me knows how much this calico means to me. He helped me realize I'm bi, gave me a chance to break out of villain roles, and brought some much-needed light during a dark time, both personally and in the world. He showed up right when I needed him most. 🧡
