A four panel comic about an upcoming event called Drawn Together: A comic artist' roundtable. We are introduced to two comic creators sitting at a stage, Kelly and Ariel. An audience member asks, "what's it like making comics for print?" Kelly and Ariel exchange a concerned glance. They are both reflecting on the extreme highs and lows they experience while making comics, as expressed by the flashes of indistinct figures in the background. Some figures complain about sore wrists and backs, others state that "Michelangelo wishes he had my talents". There are figures refusing to do work, underestimating their workload, grinding their teeth in envy while admiring other creators' comics, and giving into despair. Kelly turns back to the audience, "do you have an hour?" she asks. Ariel also warns the audience to "write this down." The final panel shows Kelly and Ariel cheerfully gesturing to the event title, and showcasing the date for the event, September 16. Image of the speakers of the event.

Hey Alex! Thanks for this, I'm Kelly and I make the webcomic Vainglorious! I have help for flatting atm, but for the most part I do everything else from writing to final colours. I also hope to work on more kinds of comics in the future!

He didn't think his actions from so long ago would come back to bite him now but here they are. Von is instantly on Hammer, "you're wanted men?!?" they scream. "Why are you looking at me like that!" Hammer retaliates, "this is clearly Rei's fault!" Meanwhile, Mercury is deep in thought as he reads the poster, "wanted alive..." he mumbles, "the Prince and his ally..." Von clutches the paper in their grip, tears already streaming, "now we need to leave!" they wail. Rei jumps at this, "we can't go yet! We—" he stops abruptly, looking to the side as he remembers the intruder in their party. Lowering his voice, he whispers to Von, "we have unfinished business, remember?" Von calms down, muttering a quiet "right" while Mercury observes them both very closely. (clipped for wordcount) Hammer holds onto a railing as he overlooks the populated docks, sighing in awe. "So these are the docks," he says. "Hey, watch out!" Someone yells. Hammer barely has time to see a hand reaching towards him before he's being pushed to the ground. A surge of wind assaults the balcony, rattling the wood and pressing him against the railings. The woman who held him down hoists him up. "Where's you tether?" she asks, "don't you know it's dangerous without one?" She herself has a safety harness securing her to the walls. "Huh?" Hammer asks, scrambled, "what was that?" "What are you doing here?" She asks, but when all Hammer can respond with is "I'm... job" she realises, "ah, new guy huh. I'll show you to the top office then." “I agree with the sentiment, Your Highness.” Says Red. He and the other ambassadors take their time inclining their hands and heads at the Princess, with varying degrees of respect. “Yes,” drawls Teal, “truly lovely to set foot on Athalite soil once again.” “We graciously thank you for your hospitality.” Says Lavender. Blue shrugs, “Pity the circumstances aren’t more favourable.” “Indeed,” says Hawk as he leans forward. He speaks in his native tongue, Talvani, but is still understood by the rest of the room, “it’s an unfortunate time to reconvene under, but do not fret — this is not the first time we’ve faced the impending mortality of a strong leader.” “Nor will it be the last!” Teal guffaws. You’re a walking signpost right now!!” “I was going to eventually!” Rei yells back. “No,” Hammer says, as he grabs one of Rei’s arms and hauls him over the counter, “we do it now, let’s go!” Von accepts this change of pace with ease and exits the front register space through its proper door, calling out to Baslo: “bye Baslo! We’re leaving early!” Baslo waves, “not a problem. You kids take care.” Outside, the trio are once again sprinting down the tunnels and passageways of Athalier. They enter onto a walkway that connects two major canyon walls. hobie brown!!!! the man that you are!!!!
