The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Be brave. Live. Resist.
Newsom’s official statement indicated that he wanted to protect the profits of insurance companies more than women’s healthcare.

Halle Berry is right! We don’t need to settle for the “Republican-Lite War on Women” that Newsom is peddling.

He also opposes human rights for trans people.
ICYMI - Halle Berry is all out of f*cks

"Gavin Newsom, has vetoed our menopause bill, not one, but two years in a row, But that’s OK, because he’s not going to be governor forever, and the way he has overlooked women… by devaluing us, he probably should not be our next president either."

The boats the regime is claiming are going from Venezuela to the US would need to refuel over 20 times to get to Miami.

They are lying to us.

Happy Last Day of Hurricane Season to all who celebrate and vote Blue!

I deleted my National Hurricane Center - NOAA bookmark 3 weeks ago, in a fit of optimism. (I always warily add it back June 1.) We were so lucky this year! It won't last, but was still nice for a time.

I’ll never understand the sadism of Trump voters. I hope each one of them gets what they deserve.
Rodney Taylor is a disabled double amputee who came to the US when he was two years old.

He was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE grabbed him.

He’s been in a camp ever since, and his health has deteriorated considerably.

The Governor of Georgia is fighting for his release:

This Boing Boing article asserts that "The Slender Man Killer has escaped!" and "[Morgan] Geyser, was 12 at the time that she [& her accomplice] killed their classmate Payton Leutner...in 2014."

Except Leutner is alive & well, thank goodness.
You can't trust anyone!

The Slender Man Killer has escaped
It seems that Morgan Geyser, the woman who admitted to killing her classmate as a sacrifice to Slender Man in 2014, has escaped custody.

The Atlantic & Vanity Fair only ever assign RFK Jr profiles to people who want to fuck him because nobody else can stomach the idea of lying to help him. He's an elderly nepobaby on a mission to kill as many children as possible before he dies, to leave the world more plague-ridden than he found it.

I’ve considered serving mac and cheese as my Thanksgiving main.
I have yet to dine with any family that has mac and cheese as a Thanksgiving side dish.

It makes me so angry that the unjust case against Letitia James can be refiled because it was dismissed without prejudice. While the corrupt, misogynist James Comey gets off scot-free, because of the statute of limitations. Comey helped install the sadistic child-rapist & never faced consequences.

America, fuck yeah!
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

If the sky that we look upon should tumble and fall, or the mountains should crumble to the sea. I won't cry, I won't cry, no I won't shed a tear. Just as long as you stand, stand by me.
I've had ... the time of my life ...
No, I never felt like this before
Yes, I swear .... it's the truth ...
And I owe it all to you

Damn. Nailed it.
Trump in a room with a very charismatic person results in like half a day of Trump agreeing with everything that person said, so this has the potential to be very, very funny.

I love sui generis, but coming from an engineering background, "very sui generis" is grating. Something is unique or it's not. The qualifier ruins the term, goddammit, Chris Hayes!

A nice dream, but MTG is not going out as a hero.
As a retiring but still sitting member of the House, MTG has the opportunity to read into the public record documents that otherwise could not be released... and would be protected by the constitution's speech or debate clause from prosecution.

Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day is metonymy. I read the definition & said, "That sounds just like synecdoche." So I go to the M-W synecdoche page & see "What is the difference between synecdoche and metonymy?" section, as if I had willed it into existence.

When Mark Antony asks the people of Rome to lend him their ears in Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar he is asking them to listen to him, not to literally allow him to borrow their ears. It’s a classic

The Department of Education, led by the wife of a former head of the WWE, has declared nursing to no longer be a professional degree.

It’s a war on so called women dominated professions

It’s also devastating for the disability community

We need nurses

“It’s not just that these men are monsters…It’s that they’re fucking idiots…Epstein had a brain as smooth as a bowling ball. In fact, I’m now convinced he didn’t kill himself because I don’t think he could have figured out how”
Mainstream news covered the Jeffrey Epstein emails related to ppl like Trump. Today, I want to take a look at Epstein's correspondence with prominent atheist and physicist Lawrence Krauss, who asked the pedophile's advice on responding to accusations of sexual assault skepchick.org/2025/11/so-i...
So I’m in the Epstein Files
Transcript: Look. I know that on this channel, I often criticize prominent people for actions that I find detestable: accepting dark money and failing to disclose it, producing propaganda for Big O…
