For posterity, here’s the load bearing structure of the bridge over the old railway on Harrison Rd. Big iron beams supporting brick arches along the length of the bridge. I think it’s very cool. Sadly, they’re not repairing it. They’re going to remove the whole deck & replace it with a concrete one.

I feel like a big way in which the internet is fucking us up is it allows almost everyone to find a community which will accept or even reinforce whatever views they hold. Often that's good! Acceptance is good! But it does mean people are less likely to know when they're just fucking weird.
