I am not a Celtic supporter, but I have to say this is wonderful.

Oh, is he now? Because he should only have been doing this for the past five years, since he became Labour leader.

Ben Doak to Bournemouth now official. That’s a fantastic career move. Big fan of this transfer.

Indeed, when you consider that the eurozone's manufacturing powerhouse (Germany) – previously the largest importer of Russian gas by a significant distance – was economically hammered after Russia invaded Ukraine, it's absolutely damning that the UK hasn't outpaced the eurozone.

And if we're trying to claim that the eurozone's lower GDP growth versus the US is a sign that Brexit was a good idea, you might also want to mention that UK GDP growth since Brexit has been even worse. Specifically, UK GDP is 4.2% up on Q4 2019, while eurozone GDP is 5.9% up.

This is one of the main routes out from the centre, to give you an idea of how picturesque it is
July 13, 2025 at 8:13 AM
We were only there for a couple of days and stayed right in the centre. To be honest it’s such a small city that the tourists and locals both seemed to be in the same spots. We just mooched around this area from the cathedral to the Praça da Republica, and to the South.

Holy shit. This is real.

Yup. When Belenenses were last in the top flight they had an average attendance that was [checks notes] around 300% of their ground’s capacity. Last season it was 150%. Also quite the slump in two years from 30k fans to… ZERO FANS 🤔 Don’t get AI to do your homework, kids.

Taken my daughter to see the Women’s Champions League final today 💪

Was at the Lane yesterday. Fantastic atmosphere. Fantastic party afterwards. 👏👏👏

Watching my new local team Belenenses bidding for automatic promotion to Liga 2 this afternoon, and have to say, there are far worse places to watch football

Yeah. I’ve been reduced to following that game on FotMob. Not looking good. Although their momentum graphic (however they calculate that) seems to suggest a familiar tale of just not being able to carve out an opening. Fair assessment?

This is immense levels of fun
