A few lights on the house for Advent and Christmas.

The post-Thanksgiving snow has arrived in southeast Michigan. Possible 2 inches to a foot, who knows. Lake effect snow bands can get stuck over an area and just dump.

Visited my alma mater, University of Detroit Jesuit High '78. Great to walk the hallowed halls again. First time back in 40 years. Open House for prospective students. Current students acted as guides, performed, served. The boys made me swell with pride. I love this place to the depths of my soul.

Excellent turnout at No Kings / No Tyrants peaceful rally here in Southeast Michigan. Many cars passing honked in approval. It brought me hope.
Four ralliers who love the USA. My niece, the pink frog. Sign says, "Fight Oligarchy. We make; They take." Sign says, "Think! While it's still legal." Ouch. Three ralliers signs say, "No sign is big enough to list all the reasons I'm here." "No Kings." And, "When cruelty becomes normal, compassion seems radical!!!"

We were a band of brothers from other mothers in the rock and roll / punk / new wave business ... played here circa 1980. The Ramones played here many times. Our group did a "Good Morning New York" shoutout / remote video feature in the morning and played a set on the small stage in the evening.

My wife, as she recovers from a TKR, visiting with our rescue pit-mix, Sage.

Enjoyed a Mud Hens win in person while tracking a dominating Lions win and a tight Tigers win thanks to pitching and defense with just enough offense. Go Lions! Go Get 'Em Tigers! Keep it up, Hens!
