Two cats zonked out exactly where I dumped them when I extracted my legs to go potty, and one bratty boy looking at me in clear judgment for abandoning our cuddle pile. Binghe has since wandered off, disgusted by the disruption. He wasn’t even laying ON me!! #Cats

Finally cooked my first meal in the new kitchen. Just my normal spaghetti, but it’s good. Really digging having a normal pantry instead of two overhead cabinets I can barely reach!

FINALLY ordered an archival box for my #zines, & just sat down and alphabetized & sleeved all the ones I’ve gotten this year. So satisfying! I have a few I need to track down on my shelves but most of my collection I got this year @ GNV Zine Fest & @ Zine Pavilion @ ALA.
2 small zines in a Mylar sleeve with a black car stock backing in a black 3 ring binder box. One zine is titled “A Zine Idea For Each Like: 171 Zine Prompts” the other is titled “A GameRT coloring zine” 2 Mylar sleeve pages in a 3 ring binder box containing 3 zines. A half size zine on the left is titled “Controlled Chaos: Where the Wild Things Read” by the Workers of the SanQuentin Prison Library. The 2 quarter size zines on the other page are titled “Happy Birthday” and “Happy Coming Out Day”

Gah. Heart still acting up even though I’m lying down. Gonna try to do something very calming and soothing now to lower my HR from the frantic pace of the last half hour.
Have some cats since that will definitely not be being on Bluesky.

I need every kitty medicine to be as tasty as Yuan’s pain medication apparently is. Life would be so much easier when they’re sick. He loves this stuff though, all I have to do is let him see the syringe and he starts trying to lap it up on his own. No fuss, no struggle, just easy peasy! #Cats

In other news, Yuan has apparently eaten something long and inorganic (theory is string) & it’s stuck in his intestines. Trying to flush it with fluids tonight, but if X-ray isn’t clear tomorrow morning will have to try more invasive removals. Poor dumb baby.

Been in bed since 6:30pm last night, mostly sleeping. But my boy and my cats have been taking care of me. All three cats have been snuggling me in bed this afternoon. But lil miss Peanut just moved 4 inches to stop snuggling me & start snuggling Binghe! So cute! #CatSky #ChronicIllness

Feeling very welcomed as who I am here in Philly. Part of that is just the nature of #alaac25, and part of it is all the people I’ve met up with here. But part of it is things like this too. Happy #Pride y’all.
