Spent almost 4 hours in the local library today. Such a pull to this place. Picked a book off the shelf that caught my eye, and opened it.
As I watched my daughter, so happy amongst the books, I smiled reading this. 💙

I spent the afternoon slipping in and out from the beginning of sleep to this album.

It was quite remarkable, my heart had a few pangs as the sound poured itself over me, the kind of pangs you get when you listen to something that really moves you.

Find myself with some hours all to myself - it doesn't happen often enough, so when time in solitude appears - and I don't already have plans - I can feel paralysed deciding what to spend them on.
Music & books - I think I'll head there first.
I'll blink & those hours of recharge will have gone.
