Remember, the Holocaust didn’t start with gas chambers in Auschwitz.

It started with politicians dividing the people with “us vs. them”.

It started with intolerance and hate speech.

It started when people stopped caring, became desensitized, and turned a blind eye.

Remember.

This International Holocaust Remembrance Day marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, one of the most infamous concentration camps of the Holocaust.

Today, we remember the millions of people murdered by Nazis in one of the greatest atrocities to ever occur.

Trump loves the myth of the wild west and territorial expansion by past presidents. One central element to that myth is that the land being "tamed" was either empty or inhabited by indigenous people who could be moved out or murdered. At about 55,000 people (and 90% Inuit) Greenland fits that bill.
Can anyone explain Trump's infatuation with Greenland? I legitimately have no idea why he's so into this.
