Kikipedia is a community-supported web app that lists gay bars and other LGBTQ-centric venues in select areas across the Americas.
We also cover LGBTQ events (drag shows, circuit parties, etc...) in certain areas. However, our most popular feature is our RPDR viewing party tracker.

Someone sent us a contact form message apologizing for starting a local drag event google calendar because they didn't know about us (to be fair, we're very jaded by social media marketing) and this poor kid- I swear social media culture and late stage capitalism have ruined everyone.

New date/recurrence entry fields on our event submission form area a beast.
Might need to add a "forms scare me" checkbox- NO I'M NOT DOING THAT IF YOU CAN'T FIGURE OUT THE FORM YOU CAN'T SUBMIT THE FORM I'm not giving myself even more work for a free service I provide sorry bout it.

Every time I do a major refactor that requires UI changes I think "this would be easier if I completely redid the frontend" but since I have literally no motivation (ie: time and $$$) to do that, it will not happen and I will wallow in tech debt rebuilding the event entry form... (1/2)

Our V2 event system will finally support a calendar view. This isn't the final UI, but a test page used to ensure everything is working correctly.

Boston Drag Gauntlet permanently canceled?
I was there at the very beginning. Had the booth between the stage and DJ reserved and probably got hearing damage from it. Moved to the table between the bar and judges for later cycles. Stopped after the covid-cancelled all star season.

The fact that cloudflare still doesn't support the @dotgay.bsky.social TLD yet is quite frankly homophobic, but probably not as homophobic as GoDaddy's commercials in the 2000s.
