Dichroic glass has two colors to it, these pictures kind of show off how the same piece can look blue or yellow depending on the lighting.

fun design too, I should try that again. Made with “glassline” black.

It is a classic loo.

a couple of times I got a chance to use leaded glass from a company called gaffer glas. it has that mix of “cleanliness and color. Great fun. unf the local teacher who used to put on casting classes can’t do it anymore.

Thank you, it was a great piece.

I like to play with adding color to the casting. there is wisdom to keeping the colors simple to emphasize the form of the cast but I just can’t resist, the way colors move and blend in a good cast is just too cool.

Another fun one, glued on eyes

Pic of the piece, it came out well I love just how solid and durable they feel when complete.

That hand will last many lifetimes.

Some crafty office coworkers have made a good case to include goth gnomes in the spooky season.

When in doubt it never hurts to build a monster or two.

Thank you glass Tikis are a thing around my house, my wife probably wishes I would make so else at this point but hey I am going to keep doing it as long as it’s fun.

Fun pic of a broken piece that is art in its failure.

Thank you, your work is really cool also and its nice to meet an artist with similar interests.

I use a fair amount of iridescent and dichroic glass, it’s expensive but has unbelievable colors perfect for highlights Or jewelry.

One of mine, seeing yours is a joy because it lets me see that there is still plenty of room to grow.

Here are pictures of my glass Pueo owl mosaic before and after lightly being (tack) fused together.

This makes all the tiny glass shards into one solid piece and keeps the detail better than full fusing.

Finishing up a small owl, glass mosaic. I will tack fuse it together (the only grout is clear glass frit).

It has plenty of personality and will look great as a suncatcher. Used the native pueo markings, they have cool dark lines around the eyes.

Cast glass is melted together and much thicker than stained glass. I would keep it away from windows for fear of breaking them. I will probably use it as a plant pot decoration.

The teacher was making dozens of cast pieces, joining them together with copper and turning them into pieces of wall art.

Took a casting class where you carve bullseye vermiculite board to make a mold for glass. Behold my mighty green glass doughnut.

A important thing with casting colored glass is a little bit of color goes a long way
