I’m glad it went well! 😊

Just try and have an easy day 🫂
kirstikean.bsky.social
They’re just lucky I’m in all day Friday. If it had been Thursday I’d have had a lot of problems.
kirstikean.bsky.social
That’ll be me on Friday. Only with a laptop.

Thankfully I’m an early riser…

I know statistics are poorly understood and are misused. But facts matter

Between the 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021 Census *every* ethnic group in the UK has become *less* geographically segregated and *all* groups, majority and minorities, are more likely to interact with people not like them

The good news: I got a new laptop - and it was in the autumn sale, so it’s a better one than I maybe could have got otherwise

The bad news: the store didn’t have it in stock, so it won’t be delivered til Friday.

The computer gods giveth and they taketh away 😂

All springs are hers!!

Mine is like that, only with pens. I was hoovering the other day and found five under my bed tucked into a corner.

She doesn’t try to eat them or anything…she just thinks she should have them 😆

I’ve finally been able to squirrel away enough cash for a new laptop.

So hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to go select it!

found you #iwtv #devilsminion
a piece of fanart of daniel molloy and the vampire armand from the AMC TV adaptation of interview with the vampire. the scene is set in the modern day, with daniel in his seventies. armand is leaning on the doorframe of a bar, standing in the shadows, his face obscured apart from his eyes glowing orange. daniel is staring at him from the sidewalk. both are smoking cigarettes. it’s visibly dark outside, and the characters and decor are only lit by the warm yellow light from inside the bar.

I don’t use mine past 7pm for that very reason. Took me a while to work it out, but once I did, I stopped doing it

Yes.

As an atheist, I don’t believe in a higher power.

But I believe everyone should be able to practice their religion in peace.

A vile act is a vile act

This is what I got when I said that people who attack mosques are as bad as those who attack synagogues.

An accusation of being racist.

Here’s a clue folks- murdering innocent people just because of their religion is fucked up.

Not all Jews are zionist, nor do they all support Israel

Grow up
That sounds like pure racism.
Israel, supported by most of the World's
Jews, is committing genocide.
Muslims are not committing any genocides.
Israel and its supporters being attacked is a
consequence of genocide.
Muslims being attacked Is a consequence of
religious hatred
No difference?
kirstikean.bsky.social
I’m guessing you haven’t bothered to look at any of my other posts, where I am outspoken in my belief that what Israel is doing is genocide?

Also, don’t come into my posts with the temerity to accuse me of racism when you are blanket accusing all Jews of being party to Israel’s vile actions

Apparently it’s much more fun to screech ‘woman captain is a murderer!’ Over and over…for decades

It’s insane. Tuvix is the albatross around the neck of the show.

It wouldn’t be so bad if the analysis was done in good faith- but the majority simply aren’t.

It’s just used as a means of pulling down the first female lead character of a Trek show
kirstikean.bsky.social
But women in Trek are invariably judged for making the same calls their male counterparts would have- and many feel they should be punished more harshly for it.

Whether it’s Janeway, Burnham or Kira they all get it in the neck via misogyny
