It's when you have a character whose real identity isn't known to others in the story (but usually is known to the reader, so it's like an inside joke). And there's a big reveal at some point. The stories may or may not involve ACTUAL porn (mine usually do😜), but it's a fun form of dramatic irony.

Exactly! And I feel like my writing is terrible when I try to force it. I wouldn't want anyone to have to read that stuff, so I just... wait until it's flowing and making sense again. Usually I don't get blocked but every once in a while, something happens LOL

It's more just stressful rather than abusive. They didn't say any derogatory things, more just insisting on an update. But I don't want it to keep tripping me up when I try to update a stalled fic, so I blocked them.

Yeah, I decided to block them. It was that or move the fic they're bugging me about into a private collection, but then that penalizes all the actually nice readers who have been patient and chill.
