If there are any deep-sea squid experts out there, please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong: however I reckon this might be a pretty rare diamondback squid egg case (formally known as thysanoteuthis rhombus egg masses). Seen today off Lily beach resort, Maldives 🦑🦑🦑
